Having a centralized location, like the Marketing & Promotions Module offered in the eEditorial Discovery System, to be able to track activities associated with the promotional initiatives surrounding a publication and share out key marketing materials (e.g. discount forms, brochures, catalogs, etc.) with the publication’s stakeholders is critical to achieving maximum reach.

General users (authors, editors, and contributors) can access promotional materials for their publications and recommend their published work to their colleagues and libraries. It also allows publishers to monitor the actions being taken by the authors, editors, contributors regarding the promotions of publications. If the current workflow presented in the system is not conducive to the publisher’s needs, customized communications and workflows can be integrated.

Custom Forms

If the provided forms are not conducive to a publisher’s needs then they can take advantage of the custom forms application which allows marketing teams to compile forms including discount forms, recommendation forms, forms for interviews/testimonials, brochures, among many other marketing vehicles to aid in publication promotion.

Power BI Reports

Through various requirements, custom reports can be created to support the publisher and also general users (authors, editors, etc.), optimizing analytics and data visualization capabilities. Publication status, sales reports, and metrics are some of the possibilities of the Power BI Reports for publishers and general users.
